Elden Ring Nightreign features unlockable skins called "Garbs" that allow you to customize your Nightfarer's appearance. The Forsaken Hollows DLC adds 12 new exclusive skins for the Scholar and Undertaker characters.

How to Unlock Skins

Unlocking the Garb System

You must complete two full expeditions (defeating all Nightlords) to unlock the Change Garb feature at Roundtable Hold. After this requirement is met, you can purchase and equip skins at the mirror in Roundtable Hold or through the menu.

Changing Your Garb

  • Visit the mirror in Roundtable Hold
  • Open the menu and select "Change Garb" to instantly warp to the dresser

Each of the eight base game Nightfarers (Duchess, Recluse, Wylder, Raider, Revenant, Blademaster, Samurai, Duelist) has access to:

  • Additional class-specific skins

The Forsaken Hollows DLC adds 6 exclusive skins for the Scholar:

    Unlock by defeating first DLC expedition

    Purchasable after first expedition
  • 4. Hierodas Scholar
    Purchasable with Murk

    Unlock through side quest completion

Undertaker Skins

The Forsaken Hollows DLC adds 6 exclusive skins for the Undertaker:

Earning Murk Currency

Murk is the primary currency for purchasing skins:

  • Earned by completing expeditions
  • Obtained by selling unwanted relics
  • Higher difficulty expeditions yield more Murk

DLC Skin Unlock Requirements

To access Scholar and Undertaker skins beyond the defaults, you must beat both new DLC expeditions (Balancers and Dreglord). This requires defeating Tricephalos and at least one other Nightlord from the base game first.

Step 1: Defeat Tricephalos (base game Nightlord)

Step 2: Defeat at least one additional base game Nightlord

Step 3: Complete Balancers Expedition

Step 4: Complete Dreglord Expedition
