Elden Ring Nightreign's major December 2025 update
Elden Ring Nightreign's major December 2025 update adds full support for The Forsaken Hollows DLC alongside significant quality-of-life improvements and balance changes.
New Features
DLC Support
- Added complete support for The Forsaken Hollows DLC
- DLC ownership indicator displays in the lower right corner of the title screen
- New Nightfarers, bosses, and Shifting Earth content now accessible
Relic Management Improvements
- Equipped relics now display in the Character Selection menu
- Toggle relic effects display to check stats before starting expeditions
- Name your Relic presets in the Relic Rites menu for easier loadout management
- View other players' equipped relics in the Results menu after expeditions
Co-op Enhancements
- Players with different Personal Objective targets can now play together
- Map layer display toggle added to Results menu
- Personal Objectives requiring specific targets now limited to one player per expedition
Shop Updates
- Added Deep Large Scenic Flatstone to the Collector Signboard shop
Balance Adjustments
Passive Effects & Special Effects
Broadened trigger conditions for low HP effects across multiple systems:
New Passive Effects:
- Improved Melee Attack Power
- Improved Dash Attacks
- Improved Rolling Attacks
Enhanced Passive Effects:
- Increased Attack Power when Two-Handing effectiveness
- Increased Attack Up when Wielding Two Armaments effectiveness
- Improved Chain Attack Finishers power boost
- Improved Charge Attacks damage increase
- Improved Jump Attacks power increase
- Improved Guard Counters effectiveness
- Improved Skill Attack Power boost
- Physical Attack Up enhancement
Rebalanced Effects:
- Improved Damage Negation at Low HP: Broader trigger conditions but reduced effectiveness
- Blue-Feathered Branchsword Talisman: Broader trigger conditions with adjusted power
Relic Effects
Multiple relic effects received power increases:
- Physical Attack Up
- Improved Initial Standard Attack
- Improved Critical Hits
- Improved Guard Counters
- Improved damage types (excluding bow weapons)
- Improved Attack Power with 3+ equipment sets (excluding bows)
Incantation Changes
- Wrath of Gold: Reduced FP consumption and increased power
Bug Fixes
- Fixed bug preventing healing or buffs during dodge rolls or Ultimate Arts
- Various stability and performance improvements
- Weapon availability adjustments in Limveld shops
